Booking and payment

You book a course or workshop through our website. Payment is made in advance via our payment provider Mollie. Your booking is final once payment has been completed successfully. After payment you will receive a confirmation by email.

All prices on the website are in euros and include VAT, unless stated otherwise.

Age limit

Our courses and workshops are intended exclusively for persons aged 18 and over.

By booking a course or workshop you declare that you are at least 18 years old.

We reserve the right to refuse participation if this condition is not met.

Cancellation by you

Up to 14 days before the start of a course or workshop you can cancel free of charge. You will then receive a full refund of the amount paid.

If you cancel between 7 and 14 days before the start, you will receive a 50% refund of the course fee paid.

If you cancel within 7 days of the start, no refund is possible.

Unexpectedly unable to attend? Please contact us. If space is available, we can try to move your participation to another date by mutual agreement. No rights can be derived from this.

Cancellation or changes by us

We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel a course or workshop for a valid reason, for example due to insufficient participants, illness of an instructor or force majeure.

In that case we will offer an alternative date or refund the full course fee.

Bovenkamer Utrecht is not liable for any additional costs or damage resulting from a change or cancellation.

Orders and shipping

For products from our webshop, the prices stated at the time of ordering apply.

Shipping costs are clearly displayed during checkout.

We aim to ship orders within 3 to 5 working days. Stated delivery times are indicative and no rights can be derived from them.

If a product is temporarily unavailable, we will contact you as soon as possible.

The risk of damage to or loss of a product passes to the customer at the moment the product is delivered to the specified delivery address.

Safety during courses and workshops

During our courses and workshops, participants work with hand tools, electric machines and other woodworking equipment.

We pay close attention to safety and provide expert supervision and clear instructions.

Participants are required to follow all directions, safety rules and instructions from instructors and staff immediately.

Machines and tools may only be used in accordance with the instructions provided.

Wearing prescribed personal protective equipment is mandatory when indicated.

If a participant fails to follow safety instructions or poses a danger to themselves or others, we reserve the right to end their participation immediately without any right to a refund.

Own risk and responsibility

Participation in a course or workshop is voluntary and at your own risk.

Although Bovenkamer Utrecht strives to provide a safe learning environment and expert supervision, the risks associated with working with tools and machines can never be fully excluded.

The participant remains responsible for acting carefully and for following all safety instructions and directions from instructors and staff.

Liability

Bovenkamer Utrecht strives to provide a safe environment and to keep materials and machines well maintained.

We are not liable for damage, injury, or loss or theft of personal belongings, except in the case of intent or deliberate recklessness on the part of Bovenkamer Utrecht, or where liability arises from mandatory law.

To the extent permitted by law, any liability is limited to the amount paid for the course, workshop or order in question.

Applicable law

All agreements and these terms and conditions are governed exclusively by Dutch law.

Any disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
