Description
Ready to go beyond the basics and truly learn the craft of woodworking? This 24 week hands on programme is designed for those who want to develop the skills and confidence to design and build their own furniture and high quality woodworking projects. Step by step, you’ll learn how to work with traditional hand tools, use professional woodworking machines safely and effectively and turn rough timber into accurately crafted components.
Along the way, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of wood selection, joinery, construction, measuring, design and finishing techniques. Everything you learn is put into practice through a series of exercises, projects and workshop assignments. As the programme progresses, you’ll work more independently and take on increasingly challenging projects, allowing you to build both skill and confidence.
From planning and preparation to construction and finishing, you’ll experience the complete process of creating a piece of furniture or woodworking project from start to finish.
By the end of the programme, you’ll have a strong practical foundation in woodworking and furniture making, a portfolio of completed projects and the knowledge and confidence to continue developing your skills independently.

Do I need experience?
No. Our courses and workshops are suitable for beginners — we guide you step by step.
What should I bring?
Nothing special. Tools and materials are provided. Wear clothes that can get dirty.
When do the lessons take place?
The course runs weekly on the same day and at the same time (except during school holidays). If you are unable to attend a session, it is possible to make up the missed time by arrangement.
Can I cancel?
Free up to 14 days in advance (100% refund), 50% between 7–14 days, no refund after that.
Can I join if I don't speak Dutch?
Yes. Our courses and workshops are taught in Dutch, but we can also give explanations and guidance in English. In most cases, English-speaking participants can simply join.
Can I join a waiting list for a course that is full?
Yes. Send us a message via the contact form and we'll let you know as soon as a spot opens up.
Can I give a course as a gift?
