Not entirely happy with your purchase from our webshop? You can make use of the statutory right of withdrawal.

Cooling-off period
For physical products, a cooling-off period of 14 days applies from the day you receive your order.
Within this period you can let us know, without giving a reason, that you wish to withdraw from the purchase. After notifying us, you have another 14 days to return the product to us.
Conditions for returns
We ask you to handle the product with care and, where possible, to return it in its original packaging and original condition.
You may inspect and assess the product as you would in a physical shop. If a product has been used beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning, we may charge for the reduction in value.
Cost of returning
The cost of returning a product is borne by the customer.
You can also return a product free of charge to our workshop in Utrecht. Please contact us in advance to make an appointment.
Refunds
After receiving the returned item, we will refund the purchase amount within 14 days at the latest, using the same payment method used for the order.
If you return the entire order, we will also refund the original standard shipping costs. Any additional costs for a more expensive shipping method chosen by you will not be reimbursed.
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to courses, workshops and other services that take place on a pre-agreed date or within a pre-agreed period.
Products that have been custom-made or adapted for a specific customer cannot be returned either.
Gift voucher terms
Bovenkamer Utrecht gift vouchers are valid for all courses and workshops offered through Bovenkamer Utrecht.
Our gift vouchers have no expiry date.
A gift voucher can be used in full or in part. If the purchase amount is lower than the value of the voucher, the remaining balance stays available for a next purchase.
Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash and are non-refundable.
Loss, theft or damage of a gift voucher is at the holder's risk.
Bovenkamer Utrecht reserves the right to invalidate a gift voucher in the event of fraud or misuse.
